Mission

Fund The UN” enables individuals to contribute to the work of the United Nations. All funds are used to support the humanitarian relief work of UN agencies and partner charities in large-scale emergencies.

Your donation will save lives, and provide vital health care, medicine, food, water, sanitation and shelter in UN Refugee Camps. Your donation will be directed to where it is most needed in the world: to war-ravaged Yemenis, to Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, to Syrian refugees in Turkey, and to Ethiopian refugees from Tigray. All of your donation (100%) will go to UN Agencies and partner charities working in the field.

Management

The allocation of funds raised is governed by the United Nations Association Council of Organizations. The Council of Organizations was created in 1945 to advise on the creation of the UN Charter; its member organizations to this day are active in carrying out the UN’s mission.

Current UN reform efforts include the Campaign for a UN Parliamentary Assembly. Once created, to give this new Assembly the “power of the purse”, funds from this “Fund The UN” campaign will be turned over to this new Parliament for management.
