The humanitarian emergency
Since February 24, 2022, almost 7 million Ukrainians have fled their homes in the war-torn nation to neighboring countries with only the clothes on their backs and some personal effects.
What is the UN doing to help?
Due to these dire circumstances, we have launched an effort to bring emergency relief to Ukrainians in the border regions of Poland and Romania. We are acting to provide humanitarian relief in the form of useful versatile clothing, shelter items, high yield food products, and hygiene kits, as well providing low availability necessities in high demand.
